Ingredients:

  • 4 2oz cup Original Aveyo Mayo

  • 2 cups flour

  • ¾ cup cocoa powder

  • 1 ¼ cups sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 cup water

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking soda.

  3. In another bowl, combine Aveyo Mayo, eggs, vanilla extract, and water until smooth.

  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes

  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting or serving.
